Goldsby Field opened in 1956 is situated in downtown Baton Rouge just 100 yards from I-110 beside Memorial Stadium, is the cherished home of the Baton Rouge Rougarou. Its convenient location makes attending games effortless for fans, with free parking available for all Rougarou games.
Steeped in history, the stadium offers a rich legacy, providing an intimate experience for baseball fans of all ages.
Goldsby Field has housed various minor-league baseball teams over the years, including the Baton Rouge Rebels (Evangeline League) from 1956 to 1957, the Baton Rouge Blue Marlins (All-American Association) in 2001, and the Baton Rouge Riverbats (Southeastern League) from 2002 to 2003.
Additionally, in 2003, the Houma Hawks from the Southeastern League played eight home games at the park. The Southern Jaguars baseball team has also utilized the stadium for their home games.
Presently, Goldsby Field serves as the home ground for the Baton Rouge Community College baseball team and the Baton Rouge Rougarou of the Texas Collegiate League, who commenced their games there in the Summer of 2019. Furthermore, the venue is regularly utilized by local LHSAA high school baseball teams.
